Happy New Year HNT

I made myself a promise. A promise to write something every day. A commitment that I'll explain later. But it has led to a decision that must be made. A difficult decision. To make a change that I have attempted--and failed at--many times over the past few years.

I've tried to leave this blog before. Each time I've found myself right back here. I've set up new blogs and invited everyone to come with me. I wouldn't even get my blogging bags unpacked at my new digs before I would come running back, leaving confused readers with an annoying case of whiplash. I think I've finally found a compromise. A way to start 2010 at peace with my dichotomous spirit. And with renewed purpose.

And all the dead lie down;

hnt work

    As per Os' instructions I made a choice of my favorite HNT from this year. Not much to choose from due to my forced hiatus for half of it.

    I selected the Freelance Writing HNT because it was the time that I finally began to feel myself again.

    I'm working the long mid-shift tomorrow so have patience. If I'm not there this morning I will be by to visit in the evening. I have so much to say to so many of you as we usher in this new year. And comments will be answered.

    Until then I love you all.
    Happy New Year.
    Happy HNT.
    You've brought me the joy and confidence I needed to continue on.

    I'll follow you, wherever you end up, here or on another blog!

    I know the feeling to write something every day- tomorrow I'm starting a Project 365 on my blog- a picture a day, every day of the coming year.

    Happy new year!

    Happy 2010!

    It's so good to know that someone else is out there carousing the web at this time and on New Year's.

    I read this post earlier and was going to comment but was rushing to get out of the house as the slopes were waiting.

    What I was going to say earlier;
    Hey Lady! You can't go anywhere, I just got here.
    The word commitment alone makes me cringe, but I know I have to do it. I will also write something everyday, no matter what, on my blog. It helps me to be accountable.

    When I read your comment on my blog, I thought, 'Damn! She beat me to it'. That'll teach me to wait 'til later.
    So, we could make a commitment as well. Let me know what your thinking when you get a minute. Happy visiting.
    Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a "Broken House" to read.

    MKL, it was actually a very calming time. And then the Muse flew. But I have the remedy, I do believe. And as you'll soon see the Muse has nothing to do with it.

    It's going to be a year of challenges. And I need a challenge.

    Hubman, I love the idea of a Project 365. And your photographery is awesome! That's why I was thinking that you should be going more in the direction I'm going. It might not be your cup of tea, but I think you just might acquire a taste for it quickly.
    I'll explain more thoroughly as I go.

    Axx, of course you'll go where I go. We're like peas and carrots.

    But I'm not really going anywhere. Just moving some old stuff. My commitment will happen here-- succeed or Fail! you'll be able to witness it all, and hold me sobbing in your Ethereal arms if it all goes to hell in a handbasket.

    Keep a candle burning for me sweetheart. I'll always find my way home.

    PB, I don't know how you're keeping up that pace. You amaze me. You inspire me. And that's what I need most of all. Inspiration.

    G~ My idea is really very simple.
    That post is going up soon.

    The one thing I found was that I have certain limited times to post. And sometimes none at all. So I've found a way to challenge myself. And to change my perspective as well.

    My idea for us-- far less taxing.
    I'm still working out the details.

    You should write as you like, though I hunger for more when I get there and see that you're not home. Maybe I should start shooting you emails when I'm home? Make you get up and play with me.

    13, you really should be in on the Hubman idea as well. You're a great photographer also.
