Remembering...
Dirge Without Music
I am not resigned to the shutting away of loving hearts in the hard ground.
So it is, and so it will be, for so it has been, time out of mind:

Today dad went to the cemetary, he wanted to have some time alone.
I did not want to be alone.
I am not resigned.
I feel my family this year.
I am as resolute as ever I have been.

Oh sweetie, I feel for you. My thoughts are with you and your family.
One of the most terrible things about grief is the way it steals our ability to speak. The grieving are rendered mute and those who wish to comfort find that all their words desert them. At a time when communication is most important it seems we're robbed of it.
I hope you know that I, and all your other friends, are thinking of you and feeling with you, even if we lack the words to say exactly how much.

I really do appreciate all of the support as does my family. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. We're up early doing secret santa stuff ;)
A couple more late nights and we should be all set. Of course by then it will be Christmas, but hey, it's worth it.
